You may remember my first post on this subject from almost two weeks ago:

Now this story has been picked up by the: Washington Post; LA Times; MSNBC; and virtually every major and small paper in the entire county. So I decided to have a closer look at the public record of this case to see if there is anything the media is not telling us.

Yesterday at the Ohio Elections Commission David Krikorian submitted a defense in OEC case 2009E 003. His defense (which is now part of the public record) included an interesting email:

Congresswoman Schmidt is one of the few members of congress who actually read Guenter Lewy's book about the genocide and is one of the few members of congress who actually doesn't believe that it was genocide. An Armenian American is running against her in the election because she opposes the resolution. We have a member of congress from Ohio who is willing to stand up to the Armenian lobby, and it is important for the Turkish American community to support her.

The key part of this email is: “Congresswoman Schmidt is one of the few members of congress who actually read Guenter Lewy's book about the genocide and is one of the few members of congress who actually doesn't believe that it was genocide.”

So, the Turks are asking for money because Schmidt “does not believe that it was a genocide.” Sounds like Krikorian was right on the money when he accused Schmidt of taking money to deny the Genocide.

It looks like there is a much larger effort on the part of the Turkish propaganda machine and once again Krikorian was correct when he called Jean Schmidt a “puppet” of this effort.

The best part of the above article is the conclusion:
“But as the saying goes, a lie isn't the other side of any story. It's just a lie.” "When it comes to the historical reality of the Armenian genocide, there is no 'Armenian' or 'Turkish' side of the question, any more than there is a 'Jewish' or 'German' side of the historical reality of the Holocaust," writes Torben Jorgensen, of the Danish Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies. "There is a scientific side and an unscientific side — acknowledgement or denial."”

I’m sure there will be more to come in this case (I'm still reading the public record and there is much more to share), and I’m sure as we approach the final hearing more and more people will realize how guilty Jean Schmidt really is in this case

Surprise, surprise, Jean Schmidt is at it again. Some of you may remember this flyer that Congressional candidate Dave Krikorian distributed just before the 2008 election. The flyer accurately conveyed that Jean Schmidt has taken over $30,000 from Muslim Turks to deny one of the greatest travesties of the 20th century, i.e., the Genocide of a million and a half Christian Armenians at the hands of Muslim Turks. It seems Jean has just filed a complaint with the OEC regarding the flyer.

Schmidt publicized the complaint in a Turkish newspaper last week. In the next few days I’m sure this story will hit the Cincinnati news cycle. One was to wonder why would Schmidt do this now? There are two plausible reasons for this: (1) she is in the pocket of the Turkish lobby; and/or (2) she is afraid of losing to Krikorian in 2010.

Remember Jean’s FAKE college degree? The one she lied about for 17 years and the one that the OEC reprimanded her for lying about, saying that she had a “reckless disregard for truth” and made “false and misleading statements.” How funny is it that she would EVER take anything back to a body that has already essentially convicted her of being a liar? Does she have ANY chance of winning this complaint against Krikorian?

What is the motivation of a person to reappear before a commission that has publically reprimanded that person as a liar? Schmidt is clearly afraid of losing to Krikorian, remember that she had 44.83 percent of the vote in 2008, i.e., more people voted against her than for her. However, the key here is the amount of money that the Turks are paying her to pretend the Armenian Genocide never happened.

So on the one hand you have the greatest conservative president EVER acknowledging the Armenian Genocide, and on the other you have the most evil person in history utilizing this as a roadmap for further atrocities and relying on the fact that people in the west may ignore it.

Schmidt is on the record denying the Genocide. The Genocide really did happen, this is a fact. A review of the FEC website shows a number of large contributions from Turkish PACs and Turkish nationals to Jean Schmidt. They have even held special fundraisers for Schmidt and have publically praised her for her denial of the Genocide. Without a doubt her opinion on this matter is bought and paid for by the Muslims.

So in a nutshell the story here is this: Jean Schmidt takes a lot of money from Muslim Turks to deny a historical fact, Dave Krikorian calls her out, Schmidt runs to the commission that has already convicted her of being a liar and files a complaint.

Krikorian has NOTHING to fear here, there is no Ohio election law that prevents a candidate from telling the truth about an opponent. Schmidt on the other hand has plenty to fear, and she is clearly showing this by her actions. This is yet another example why Jean Schmidt is not fit to hold any office and anyone that votes for her is a fool, the end is near for Schmidt, it’s just a shame that we all have to wait until November 2010 for Krikorian to defeat her.

David Krikorian v. Jean Schmidt v. Vic Wulsin Ohio 2nd Congressional Predictions

The game changer in this race happened over the weekend. This flier (link) was distributed on a large scale throughout the 2nd District from Saturday until tonight. Today the Right to Life movement was abuzz as the flier was emailed and circulated to a majority of members in Ohio 2. Jean Schmidt's refusal to acknowledge the Armenian Genocide and the fact that she has taken blood money from Muslim Turks to hide the truth regarding the slaughter of Christian Armenians has cost Jean Schmidt a significant portion of her base, and in my opinion will be the proverbial “straw that broke the camel's back” (pun intended). Jean Schmidt will NOT win without this part of the base and David Krikorian will win Ohio 2 tomorrow.

My prediction is this:

David Krikorian 38%
Jean Schmidt 35%
Victoria Wulsin 27%

I predict that David will win Adams, Brown, Clermont, and Hamilton counties. He will finish 2nd in Warren and 3rd in Pike and Scioto.

Jean Schmidt will carry Warren county, and finish 2nd in the other six counties.

Victoria Wulsin will win both Pike and Scioto counties and finish last in the other five counties.

David will poll close to 60% in Brown and in the 40's in both Clermont and Adams. Hamilton will be in the high 30's and Warren in the low 30's. Pike and Scioto are likely to be in the mid-20's but will be offset by a strong victory in Brown.

Jean Schmidt will only approach 40 in Warren and that will be her high water mark for the night. Expect to see her close to 20% in Brown, the mid-20's in Scioto and the mid 30's in the other four counties.

The Republican inner circle was also abuzz today with poll results showing this to be a two-horse race between David and Jean. What I heard was that Vic is actually in the low-20's or even the high teens, but I think the DCCC spent enough money to keep her north of 25%, but she will still be below 28%.

This thing will be close, but Krikorian was build a strong base against the worst elected official in the history of Southern Ohio. I may miss having Jean to kick around after tomorrow, but as I have stated before it is checkmate for her, and David Krikorian was the grandmaster.

I have spoken with David Krikorian the independent candidate for the 2nd Congressional District in Ohio to get to the bottom of a whisper campaign against him that has been circling conservative circles in southwest Ohio. David donated money to Democratic candidate Victoria Wulsin during her last election against Jean Schmidt, and many conservatives have wondered “Why would a conservative like David Krikorian give money to a liberal like Vic Wulsin?”

The answer David gave me to the above question is one that I believe clearly validates that he is in fact a true honorable American conservative. The answer David gave is this: “I supported Vic Wulsin because Jean Schmidt refuses to acknowledge the slaughter of MY FAMILY and 1.5 million other Christian Armenians at the hands of Muslim Turks and she has taken BLOOD money to deny the Genocide.”

For those of you that don't know in 1919 the Turks began a process of slaughtering Armenians in what today is now Turkey. In fact, Adolph Hitler himself was quoted as saying “Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?” Hitler used what Turkey did as his road map to the Jewish holocaust.

On May 22, 2008 Jean Schmidt took a contribution from Turkish Coalition USA PAC, another in a long line of contributions that total close to $30,000. That same day she gave a speech on the house floor praising Ataturk, where she stated: “May 19 is a very important day when it all began. On this day a great leader began his journey, a vision became reality and a great nation was born. We should all learn a lesson from this man's life. A leader with a vision coupled with determination can lay the roots for a great future. Turkey's neighbors who today wrestle with their own beginnings should take note.”

Jean Schmidt has continued to deny the Genocide of the Christian Armenians and praised the person that created a road map for future terrorists.

Here is what Pope John Paul II and Ronald Reagan had to say about the Armenian Genocide:

“The Armenian Genocide has been a prelude to the horrors which followed: the two world wars, innumerable regional conflicts and deliberately organized campaigns of extermination that have ended the lives of millions of believers.” Pope John Paul II (September 26, 2001)

“Like the Genocide of the Armenians before it, and the Genocide of the Cambodians which followed it and like too many other such persecutions of too many other peoples the lessons of the Holocaust must never be forgotten.” Ronald Reagan (April 22, 1981)

The bottom line is that Jean Schmidt refuses to recognize the Armenian Genocide and she has taken campaign contributions from Muslims to be the mouthpiece of their agenda. Today Islamic terrorists thrive on this line of thinking. By ignoring what happened and refusing to recognize the lessons of the past we are all doomed to repeat these horrors. One of the root causes of the terror threat we all face today is allowing this line of thought to infiltrate our society all the way to the highest levels of elected officials.

With people like Jean Schmidt in office every American faces an increased treat from the radical Islamic terrorists. Jean Schmidt WILL TAKE THEIR MONEY and continue to be a voice for them. We MUST send her a message that this is not acceptable in America today and vote her out of office on Tuesday.

BREAKING NEWS Jean Schmidt Violates Ohio Election Law; Could Face Jail Time

In an effort to promote the defeat of Victoria Wulsin, Jean Schmidt has blatantly once again made false and misleading statements and showed a reckless disregard for truth by fabricating the financial position of Victoria Wulsin's campaign.

I have prepared an Ohio Elections Commission complaint, naming Jean Schmidt, the Schmidt for Congress Committee, Schmidt spokesperson Brian Pfaff and blogger Matt Hurley as defendants. The compliant will be filed on Monday.

Here are the FACTS:

The Federal Elections Commission website shows cash on hand for candidates in the Ohio 2nd Congressional District. Here are the totals for Jean Schmidt and Victoria Wulsin as of October 15, 2008:

Jean Schmidt $157,589
Victoria Wulsin $179,899

On October 16, 2008, blogger Matt Hurley posted a press release from Jean Schmidt verbatim. The release was dated Thursday, October 16, 2008 and included "Paid for by Schmidt for Congress Committee."

(Note: here is a link to the post which one can assume Hurley will delete as soon as he becomes aware that his blatant violation of the law has been discovered.)

The release headline was: "Schmidt Enters Final Stretch with 14 point Lead and $40,000.00 Money Advantage -- New Schmidt Poll Shows Commanding Lead with Few Undecided Voters Left."

The title of the release includes a fabrication of the truth, since Jean Schmidt clearly did NOT have a $40,000 money advantage on October 16, 2008; instead, Victoria Wulsin had a $22,310 advantage.

(Note: the 14 point lead is also a fabrication, but Schmidt can present her bogus poll results to defend herself; she cannot defend against the FEC report that proves she is once again lying.)

The release also includes:

"Further, we enter the final weeks with a significant cash advantage during a period where cash very much matters,” Bruce Pfaff, Schmidt Campaign spokesman said.

Federal Election Commission filings show that somehow the Wulsin Campaign spent $440,000 in July, August, and September, leaving the campaign treasury with almost $50,000 fewer dollars than Schmidt. That amount, $50,000, equates to nearly a week of television advertising.

“It is borderline malpractice for a campaign to spend that much money before the battle. Her campaign seems message less and clearly adrift. Wulsin’s attack commercials have driven her own negatives up to record levels, all the while Congresswoman Schmidt enjoys the record high approval ratings,” Pfaff added.

“Her own advertising has made Victoria Wulsin the least popular candidate running in all of Southern Ohio. She has spent $440,000 to earn the title of least-liked politician in our area. If she keeps this up with what little money she has left, she’ll be competing for who comes in third with the “Independent,” Pfaff concluded."

There are multiple fabrications of the truth in the above statement from the Schmidt campaign. Clearly, Schmidt does NOT have a money advantage, this is a blatant lie, i.e. a "false statement" under Ohio law.

The Ohio Revised Code states the following:

(B)(10) Post, publish, circulate, distribute, or otherwise disseminate a false statement concerning a candidate, either knowing the same to be false or with reckless disregard of whether it was false or not, if the statement is designed to promote the election, nomination, or defeat of the candidate.

Clearly, the statements in the Schmidt press release are (1) false statements and (2) designed to promote the defeat of a candidate.

The penalty provision of the ORC states:

(V) Whoever violates section 3517.21 or 3517.22 of the Revised Code shall be imprisoned for not more than six months or fined not more than five thousand dollars, or both.

What this all means and the next steps:

First, since Schmidt has a histroy with the OEC and has previoulsy been found guilty of violating this section of the code, so expect the OEC to go for jail time for Schmidt on this one. Hopefully, Matt Hurley and Brian Pfaff will also receive a severe punishment for their roles in yet another fraud being perpetrated on the public by Jean Schmidt.

The next step is to file the formal complaint. I'll wait until mid-day Monday to file, since it's likely the Wulsin camp or the DCCC will beat me to the punch, since I have broken this story here on The FDH Lounge Multimedia Magazine.

After the complaint is filed, there will be a probable cause hearing within two days and a formal hearing within seven. I am hopeful that Jean Schmidt is convicted before the election.

In a previous post, I stated that I want to see Jean Schmidt go out in the "perp walk." Thanks to Matt Hurley (the only person I could find that posted her post verbatim), I may finally get my wish.

This is a clear sign that Schmidt knows she will lose this election. She has released bogus polls, been destroyed in the debates, her supporters are all silent now, and she knows she is not the best candidate. I hope the State of Ohio has a nice warm cell ready for Jean once the election is over.

Jean Schmidt supporters DEAD silent as David Krikorian closes in on winning OH 2

Time is finally running out on Jean Schmidt, and her biggest supporters KNOW this. Alas, they can do nothing but keep silent and watch as Schmidt's campaign is "stuck in a ditch way out in the middle of nowhere."

Where is Matt Hurley with another Schmidt bogus poll press release? Jean is claiming to be 14 points ahead with 52%, when she won the last election by 1.06% (without David Krikorian in the race) and Schmidt polled this summer at a whopping 24.2%.

Where is Tom Blumer praising Schmidt for voting against the bailout and continuing to claim that Schmidt is not a RINO, then having to admit he was "let down" after she voted FOR a worse version of the bill that added an additional $150 billion in pork?

Where is Dave the Nix Guy? He stated "I am quite proud of my 2nd district Rep, Jean Schmidt. She probably just secured her reelection with just this vote alone" Nix Guy then went dead silent when Jean changed her vote.

Where are they, you ask? Well, I can tell you that you can stick a fork in all three of them because they are DONE! Just as Jean Schmidt is finally done as well. Their credibility is SHOT because they trusted one of the most vile and deceitful people on the planet, good old Jean Schmidt.

Jean Schmidt is nothing more than a shill for the RINO NeoCon agenda. The three aforementioned bloggers should have figured this out long ago. These three guys try to act like conservatives, but the scoreboard at the end of the day states otherwise, because they have become shills for Jean Schmidt (ironic they are shills for a shill).

The really SAD thing is that David Krikorian truly believes in a conservative agenda, one that likely aligns very well with the purported views of these guys. They should EMBRACE David as thier candidate of choice RIGHT NOW before it is too late.

The really funny thing is that none of the above can find a way to criticize David on any of his positions on the issues because they claim to believe what he does. So they are forced to throw racial slurs at him calling him the "Angry Armenian" and blasting him for questioning Jean's claims of being struck by a hit-and-run driver.

In my mind, the Jean Schmidt hit-and-run driver will be found about the same time the REAL killers in the O.J. Simpson case are tracked down. If a person has lied about a fake college degree for 17 years, gotten caught, lied on TV as part of the cover-up, and been reprimanded by the elections commission for a "reckless disregard for truth," then why is it not logical to question ANYTHING she says as being true? (Note that when I heard about this, my initial reaction was "that's awful, I don't want Jean to get taken out like that, I want to see her do the perp walk some day with her hands cuffed in front of her as she is marched into custody.") It was a logical question by future Congressman Krikorian and many of us logically thought the same thing, so blasting David for any remarks on this subject is nothing more than a Schmidt slimeball tactic.

This week, Jean attempted to manipulate David Krikorian and Victoria Wulsin into signing a "clean campaign pledge." Here is the problem: something is not an "attack" per se if it is TRUE! I commend Victoria Wulsin for sharing the TRUTH about Jean Schmidt; people should know everything about her record. Jean Schmidt has embarrassed us all and Vic has the proof on her website embarrassedbyschmidt.com.

But guess what, people? David Krikorian has already been running a clean campaign focusing on the issues. His response to Jean's request was: "First of all, let’s be clear, I haven’t run any attack ads against either of my opponents and do not plan to."

David's additional response to Jean's request was: "Let's do a third debate instead." However, David literally CRUSHED Jean Schmidt in the last two debates and her puppet-masters want NO PART of a third beatdown from David.

David Krikorian is far and away the BEST candidate in this race. People need to get that, and all they have to do is take a brief look at the Krikorian Plan and there is ZERO doubt that they should vote for David.

When David is elected in 11 days, the residents of Ohio 2 can once again be proud to tell people who their congressperson is. The taint and embarressment of having Jean Schmidt will finally be washed away. It's finally checkmate for Jean Schmidt, folks, and David Krikorian is the grandmaster that will finally bring one home for the good guys.

David Krikorian dominates Ohio 2nd Congressional debate v. Jean Schmidt and Victoria Wulsin

WOW is my first impression of David Krikorian. He's on top of his game and ready to be the only independent in Congress next year. His debating skills are outstanding, and his views on the issues are right on the money with those of the people of Ohio 2. A vote for David is like picking your smartest friend, adding 20 IQ points and then sending that person to Congress. I am convinced after tonight that (1) David will win this election and (2) he will be the best Congressman in the history of Ohio 2.

What the scores mean:
Krikorian 96 points

90's: A score in the 90's indicates that you felt that the speaker did a superb job. You thoroughly enjoyed listening to the speaker and would go out of your way to hear him or her again — if you were in the habit of listening to speeches. You would be delighted to have this person as the advocate of a cause that you supported.

David was the HAMMER tonight. He was masterful at working in strong rebuttals and his positions on the issues made sense. I guess that is what happens when you get an over-qualified person running for Congress. Anyone that watched the debate will be casting a vote for David, there is little doubt about it.

Wulsin 71 points

70's: This indicates an average speech, neither very good nor very bad. You would not mind listening to this person again but you would be particularly pleased about it either. As an advocate, this person would not strengthen your cause.

Wulsin made some good points but her view from the far left is not in-line with the views of the people of Ohio 2. I listen to Vic and it's like having my mom give me a talk. She's a super-nice lady, and a good person. If it wasn't for the fact that David is the MOST qualified candidate then I could vote for Vic, I trust her.... but her views on so so many subjects are too far to the left. Vic should move to a liberal district, she would do a fine job representing the liberal agenda. However, Ohio 2 is NOT liberal, so Krikorian is the ONLY option for any conservative.

Schmidt 28 points
50's: This mark indicates that the speech failed completely. Something must have gone very wrong. You would go out of your way to avoid listening to this person again.

I have not had a root canal in about 10 years but I would opt to have another one in lieu of EVER hearing Jean Schmidt speak again. She comes across as a liar, and since she's already been convicted of fraud by the Ohio Elections Commission for a "reckless disregard for truth" and making "false and misleading" statements there is little doubt that the dribble she speaks was prepared for her and she has NO CLUE about the issues.

To call Schmidt the greatest embarrassment in Ohio 2 history would be the understatement of the decade. How can ANYONE EVER vote for this woman if they actually hear her speak? Jean Schmidt is HORRIBLE, and likely has an IQ in the 90's (if she is lucky). NO ONE should EVER vote for Jean Schmidt and if you take the time to listen to her you will know why.

Jean Schmidt’s Fraud Conviction to be Reviewed by House Ethics Committee

Let’s review the facts:

(1) In April of 2006 Jean Schmidt was reprimanded by the Ohio Elections Commission for a “reckless disregard for truth” and “making false and misleading statements” for violating ORC 3517.21 by lying about her fake college degree and endorsements she never actually received.

(2) ORC 3599.42 Prima-facie case of fraud states: “A violation of any provision of Title XXXV [35] of the Revised Code constitutes a prima-facie case of fraud within the purview of such title.”

(3) The US House Committee on Standard of Official Conduct Rules 1 and 2 state:

1. A Member, officer, or employee of the House of Representatives shall conduct himself at all times in a manner which shall reflect creditably on the House of Representatives.
2. A Member, officer, or employee of the House of Representatives shall adhere to the spirit and the letter of the Rules of the House of Representatives and to the rules of duly constituted committees thereof.

(4) The Nancy Pelosi led House purports to be “cleaning up the House.” It logically follows that it will start by enforcing its own ethics rules. It also follows that a member that has been publicly reprimanded for fraud by the State Elections Commission has by definition violated both rules 1 and 2 above.

Next Steps:

The process for bringing a formal complaint is fairly complex. However, there is a clear process in place. In a nutshell a sitting member of the House must certify any complaint brought by a non-member.

So, next week I will be filing a formal complaint with the US House against Jean Schmidt for her fraud conviction. I will be sending a copy of my complaint to: Speaker Pelosi; Minority Leader John A. Boehner; the Chair of the House Committee on Standard of Official Conduct Ohioan Stephanie Tubbs Jones; and Steve Chabot.

If the House is serious about cleaning itself up it should start with its most corrupt, dishonest and incompetent member, i.e. Jean Schmidt. It should also start with a slam dunk case, which this obviously is.

I am hopeful that the Republican Party will embrace this action as well. Jean Schmidt was reprimanded for perpetrating a FRAUD on the public. Anyone that commits a fraud should be held accountable for his or her actions, and it’s time we start holding Jean Schmidt to this standard.

Jean Schmidt Votes to Raise Inflation and Unemployment Rates

Yesterday 233 Congressional Democrats and 82 Republicans in Name Only (RINOs) voted to raise the federal minimum wage; an action that anyone with even one college level economics course realizes will lead to a major jump in both the rates of inflation and unemployment in the US.

Only 116 Republicans stood their ground: in Ohio this included Real Republicans: John Boehner, Steve Chabot, David Hobson, Jim Jordan, and Pat Tiberi. This also means that a number of so-called Republicans failed their base and allowed an action that will result in dire consequences on the US economy.

Ohio-2 RINO Jean Schmidt’s Yes vote should come as no surprise to anyone. Schmidt who’s college transcript became a matter of public record in April when she submitted it in her defense of her fake college degree conviction by the Ohio Elections Commission has taken Intro to Economics at least four times in her life, apparently she needs to take this course at least one more time to even begin to comprehend what she just became a part of.

This woman tries to pass herself off as a “conservative.” I wonder if any of her SOB shills like Bizzyblog, Viking Spirit and Matt Hurley can find a way to justify this vote by Schmidt?

Perhaps next year when unemployment is at 8-10% and it costs $4.00 for a gallon of milk a Real Republican will be able to hold Schmidt accountable for this vote by trouncing her in the next OH-2 primary. I also hope that anyone that considers themselves a “conservative” will begin to call for the heads of RINOs like Schmidt and Deborah Pryce.

There is no hiding from this vote Jean.

The Negative Economic Impact of Ohio’s Minimum Wage Increase

To say “I told you so” is a major understatement. The suckers (i.e., voters) of Ohio that voted for this last week will soon realize the horrible economic ramifications of such an uneducated decision.

To make this point let’s take a look at four hypothetical companies and see how they will react to the minimum wage increase.

Company A: Simply passes along the price increase to all of its customers. The average restaurant spends about 20% in labor costs. This should correlate to approximately a 6-7% price increase for ALL consumers. Here’s a LINK to a recent story.

Company B: This type of company will cut all benefits to workers to offset the price increase. Kiss that health care plan good bye.

Company C: Sorry about everyone’s luck for this type of company. They will close up shop altogether and send the jobs to KY, PA, MI, IN or worst of all to India, China etc.

Company D: This is the most likely outcome for most companies. Say this company had 100 minimum wage employees and a budget of $515 an hour for these workers. The budget WILL NOT CHANGE. Assume no tax increase for a moment (not a real world assumption since the FICA contribution for a company will also now increase on a per employee scale.)

Company D decides to spend the same $515 per hour. But now instead of this being split 100 ways it is split $515/ 6.85 per hour OR 75 ways. Great news for the 75 people that get to keep a job, a whopping $1.70 per hour increase. But what about the 25 suckers that are now unemployed? I bet they wish they still had that $5.15 an hour instead of $0!

The above only captures a small fraction of what is to come for Ohio. Think about the worker that started at $5.15 who has worked hard and three pay raises later is at $6.50. Now he or she will get a bump to $6.85 along with the same bottom feeders that have been making $5.15. How long before this $6.50 worker quits because all the work he has put in has been wiped out by government intervention.

And just wait and see what happens to the inflation rate folks. If you are on a fixed income you’ll soon start to see what this was such a bad idea.

The only thing that can help Ohio at this point is quick passage of a Federal Minimum wage increase. If this does not come then expect Ohio’s economy to continue on a fast track into the abyss.

Maybe some day liberals will take a minute to study some basic principles of economics, then again I guess that is too much to ask since they are all in love with democracy.

Keep in mind we pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands. Not the democracy!

Democracy is three wolves and a lamb voting on what is for dinner.

Some decisions were not meant to be left up to the people to decide. Our Founding Fathers knew this when they wrote our Constitution. Too bad the this point will hit home far to late for the suckers that listened to the liberals and helped destroy the great state of Ohio.

Another Jean Schmidt Scandal Anyone?

This one is going to sound pretty far fetched but the investigation is UNDERWAY.

As many people remember on September 7, 2006 the Ohio Elections Commission (OEC) held a hearing in the now infamous photogate case. Barry Bennett, Joe Braun, Peter Schmidt and others were there to support Jean. However, one other person was there as well, can you guess who?

Not exactly identical twins now are they?

When I arrived in Columbus I thought I saw Jean sitting there waiting for the case to begin. I pulled Joe Braun aside and he told me that this was Jennifer NOT Jean.

When John Craig from the Cincinnati Enquirer arrived he also thought Jean Schmidt had made the trip to Columbus, in fact he even mentioned it on the Politics Extra Blog: LINK.

Jon wrote: "Schmidt's twin wister, Jennifer Black, was seated on the white couch. She introduced herself. I was not alone in briefly mistaking her for the congresswoman from Miami Township. Noy asked Schmidt's attorney, Joseph Braun, if he could question the congresswoman, since he, too, thought Schmidt herself had made it here today from Washington, D.C."

The Enquirer also reported the fact that a Hollywood film crew was there to tape the proceedings: LINK.

Here's where it begins to get interesting. That day on the House Floor Jean Schmidt cast 6 votes, as noted on the Washington Post website: LINK.

The hearing did not end until almost 4pm that day.

Here's your punch line: Jean Schmidt was in Columbus, Ohio the entire day on September 7, 2006, hence she could NOT have been in DC casting votes. Therefore, Jennifer Black was on the House Floor that day.

Here's how we PROVE it:

(1) We have footage of Jean in Columbus.
(2) CSPAN has footage of Jennifer in Washington.

We are in the process of getting the CSPAN footage. What do you think happens to Jean and Jennifer now?

Jail time for both and expulsion from the House for Jean just for starters.

Sounds pretty crazy I know. But Jean Schmidt is the ONE person in the world that is psychotic enough to attempt to pull a scam like this off.

When this story breaks keep in mind where you heard it first.

Victoria Wulsin WILL be the next congresswoman from OH-2. Here is why:

(1) Provisional votes yet to be counted. Odds are the people voting for Vic encountered more problems on election-day than did Jean’s supporters. When these votes are counted Vic should be ahead or at least within a fraction of a percentage point.

(2) The re-count. One thing I KNOW for certain is that a number of people voted for ME in Clermont County. They also put special marks on their ballots in case of a re-count. Since the Ohio Secretary of State website is still showing me with 0 votes in Clermont County this is very perplexing. MY votes better show up, or we will have iron-clad proof of voting fraud in Clermont. I venture to guess that in a re-count Vic continues to gain ground and may even pull ahead.

(3) The mother of ALL wildcards. Think back to what happen in 1985 in Indiana. Remember Republican Richard D. McIntyre, whom the Indiana Secretary of State had certified as winning a seat in the 99th Congress, and Democrat Frank McCloskey, in which the House declined to seat McIntyre? Bob McEwen remebers and so do I.

Think more about number three above. House Majority Leader Murtha will refuse to certify Schmidt and Vic Wulsin WILL be the next Congresswoman from Ohio-2.

Congrats Vic and HANG IN THERE. Murtha and the D-controlled House will look out for you. All you have to do is stick to your guns and Jean Schmidt WILL BE PURGED!

BREAKING NEWS: Nate Noy BLASTS Jean Schmidt in Rolling Stone Magazine Interview

Ohio Second Congressional District independent write-in candidate Nate Noy today neared the end of of his anti-corruption campaign trail by blasting Jean Schmidt in a Rolling Stone Magazine Interview. The interview which hit newsstands today noted that Noy is a "Regan-era conservative and a passionate free-market ideologue." Noy calls Schmidt "disgraceful" in the interview which may be the kindest words uttered about her by the author Matt Taibbi.

The article calls Schmidt a "half-bright hayseed" and gives her the title of the "reigning arch-dipshit of the American polity." The article also cites that Schmidt lied about her FAKE college degree and says that Jean Schmidt's attire looks like it was "cut from some prison warden's sofa." It also says that every time someone turns on a video camera that Schmidt "races to stick a foot in her mouth." The article also calls Schmidt a "freak-show" and a "serial make-up abuser" that "triggered the death spiral of the Republican Party."

When asked to comment on the article Noy stated: "The only thing I disagree with in the article is the abusive language Matt chose to utilize. At one point he states 'you have to really not give the slightest f... about what people think to offer Jean Schmidt as a candidate.' I agree with everything Matt said about Jean, I just wish his choice of verbiage would have been a little less R-rated."

Noy added: "This interview brings a nice apex to the work my team and I have done over the last few months. Of course our final victory will come tomorrow night when the results of this election come in and Jean Schmidt is purged from Congress. Our efforts have been designed to send a very, very strong message to RINO's everywhere, if you are going to call yourself a Republican you sure as heck better be a REAL Republican. Purge Jean Schmidt: A Final Reminder

Odds are I will not win the election tomorrow, there is always Divine Intervention, but that's what it will take at this point. However, I truly hope that when the votes come in I AM the difference between Jean Schmidt winning and losing this election.

Jean Schmidt is a RINO or Republican In Name Only. For the Republican Party to survive long-term ALL RINO's MUST BE PURGED. Anyone that does not embrace the concept of Supply-Side Reaganomics is NOT a fiscal conservative and has NO BUSINESS in the Party. Jean Schmidt is responsible for the highest tax and spending increases in Ohio history under the corrupt Larry Householder and Bob Tax regime.

Jean Schmidt also has voted to Ban Guns, support Fidel Castro, lied about a FAKE college degree and refused to show up at any of the 10 or so candidate debate and forum events where Victoria Wulsin and I debated over the last three months. Jean's attitude was that she is above ALL of US and we OWE her our votes.

Jean even took money from USEC to support bringing a toxic waste dump to MY HOMETOWN.

Cincinnati Enquirer Cites Federal Crime Committed by Jean Schmidt in Endorsement

Ohio Second Congressional District independent write-in candidate Nate Noy today continued on the path of his anti-corruption campaign trail by informing the public that Jean Schmidt has committed a federal crime, Noy stated: "The incompetence and/or dishonesty of the Cincinnati Enquirer continued to shine through today when it endorsed Jean Schmidt for Congress and cited a federal crime committed by her as one of her major accomplishments."

Noy added the following facts: "In its endorsement the Enquirer stated: 'She won high marks for helping to deal with the styrene leak in eastern Cincinnati shortly after she took office.' This stems from a letter she sent to the administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration on August 29, 2005. A copy of the letter was still posted on the Jean Schmidt website today at: http://news.enquirer.com/assets/AB7777830.PDF ."

"The LAW is very clear and Jean Schmidt broke it when she wrote this letter. There is federal legislation that limits the use of the Franking Privilege to sitting members of Congress. There is a provision that allows for a member-elect to utilize this Privilege if and only if the following three prongs are met: (1) The letter must be in responses to a letter; (2) the member-elect must be certified by the Board of Elections and (3) the member-elect must have prior approval from the U.S. House."

"This letter was written BEFORE Jean Schmidt went to Congress and long before Secretary of State Ken Blackwell certified her election results. If you recall it was mid-November before the Hamilton County Board of Elections certified the special election of August 2005. Schmidt signed this letter 'Congresswoman-elect' but legally she was NOT certified and therefore she could NOT legally send the letter."

Noy added: "Another ironic twist in this tale is the fact that this letter is posted on Jean Schmidt's CAMPAIGN WEBSITE! U.S. House rules clearly prohibit the use of any official correspondence on a campaign website. So even IF Schmidt found a way to circumvent the law when she first sent this letter the fact that she is using it in her campaign is another violation of the law. If does not surprise me that the same newspaper that endorsed a woman that does not even recall what kind of college degree she has by citing her 'file-card memory' last year would point to another blatant illegal act by Jean Schmidt when endorsing her this year. How much stock does this woman own in the company? Or perhaps the Cincinnati Enquirer simply employs the most incompetent editors on the planet!"

Last night at the Clermont County League of Women Voters event I shared some facts with the audience:

(1) That Jean Schmidt was publicly reprimanded by the OEC in April for a "reckless disregard for truth" and making "false and misleading statements" for lying about her FAKE college degree.

(2) That she went on the TV 12 Newsmakers show with Dan Hurley the day after her reprimand and blamed this lie on her web developers.

(3) That on November 2, 1989 when Jean first ran for a public office that she claimed "two college degrees."

(4) That unless Jean shared the same web developer as Al Gore in 1989 this is impossible.

After the event someone came up to me and shared their own Jean Schmidt story. I was told that a few years back Jean came to speak at a community college and told the students that she had "worked her way through college by cleaning houses."

Jean is the daughter of a multi-millionaire she has NEVER cleaned a house in her life.

Jean is known as "Mean Jean" because of the way she treats others, and she has been caught in lie, after lie, after lie. She has NEVER said "I'm sorry" for any of her lies and she continues to lie on a daily basis.

Some people believe she is simply a pathological liar. However, I'm pretty sure that any FBI profiler would label her "psychotic."

I am NOT a MD or a Ph. D. (I only have a BA in Econ, JD and MBA). However, I have spent some time looking at the subject of neurology and I believe Jean Schmidt suffers from antisocial personality disorder (APD).

Dear Ms. Cooper,

My name is Nathan Noy and I am a Federal Candidate for the U.S. House in the Second Congressional District of Ohio. I am writing you to lodge a formal complaint against WKRC Television 12 in Cincinnati, Ohio for a willful violation of 47 USC Section 315.

Facts
My FEC # is: H6OH02268. I am registered as an Independent and I am endorsed by the Reform Party and America First Party.
I am certified as a write-in candidate by the Board of Elections.
I have taken part in all local League of Women Voters candidate's forums and debates as well as other forums in the District.
I was given proper FCC access to interview opportunities by Channel 19 and Channel 9 TV and 700 and 1050 Radio.

Complaint
At 11:00am EDT on 10/15/06 WKRC Channel 12 aired a debate between Jean Schmidt and Victoria Wulsin the two major party candidates on its Newsmakers program. I was willfully denied an opportunity to take part in this event and Channel 12 was on ample notice of my candidacy given they had previously interviewed me as part of another elections coverage event.

The debate in question was one in a series of Congressional debates that not only were aired by WKRC but also were actually sponsored by the station.

I have attempted to negotiate a fair alternative settlement with the station to provide me with fair access per 47 USC Section 315; however talks with legal counsel for WKRC have reached an impasse.

Given the above I am requesting that the FCC enforce 47 USC Section 315 and that the FCC forces the station to conduct a special taping and airing of the Channel 12 Newsmakers program that MUST air prior to the election with a similar audience reach per the code. Alternatively, I request that the FCC enforce the penalty provisions of 47 USC Section 317 and revoke the WKRC license to broadcast.

Legal counsel for WKRC maintains a legal position that this illegal act falls within the exceptions of the code.

The key distinction between the legal argument presented to me by counsel for WKRC and this specific issue is that Channel 12 scheduled and sponsored a series of debates for ALL Congressional candidates and willfully excluded me. There is NO bona fide "news story" here, the "campaign" is THE news story. The legislative intent of the code is very clear and I believe there is NO exception for WKRC here.

If WKRC does not comply with the above request prior to the November 7, 2006 election I am formally requesting that the FCC revoke their license. Please advise as to the proper process that must be followed to bring this issue to fruition. I am fully prepared to enter into the Federal Court System if resolution of this issue requires such and I will obtain legal counsel of my own to achieve this end if necessary.

Letter to WKRC Legal Team

Mr. Coy:

While I respect your legal analysis of this issue I disagree with you on the issue raised by this point of law and the legislative intent behind 47 USC Section 315.

Therefore, I intend to file a formal complaint with the FCC and request revocation of the WKRC FCC license.

My previous correspondence to WKRC was meant to be seen as a viable workaround for the station. I am now requesting a special taping and airing of the Channel 12 Newsmakers program that MUST air prior to the election.

The key distinction between the cases you cited and this specific issue is that Channel 12 scheduled and sponsored a series of debates for ALL Congressional candidates and willfully excluded me. There is NO bona fide "news story" here, the "campaign" is THE news story. The legislative intent of the code is very clear and I believe there is NO exception for WKRC here. Therefore, unless WKRC schedules a special episode of Newsmakers, preempts other programming and airs this with a similar audience reach I will pursue this FCC complaint to its final and complete resolution by the FCC and the federal court system. If WKRC prefers to pay your firm 100X more for legal fees then it would have lost in revenue by accepting my previous offer then I guess they simply do not understand the theory of a cost-benefit analysis.

I have been contacted by members of the Green Party and other interested parties for this case. Our goal will be for the FCC and the Courts to sanction WKRC by revoking its license to broadcast. This will be a watershed case in our opinion and we believe it will serve as a strong precedent for future actions by other FCC licensed entities.

I wish you the best in this fight. However, I believe as long as the courts follow the letter of the law and the legislative intent of the code in this matter there is little question that our side will prevail and WKRC will have made one of the poorest business decisions in the history of broadcasting.

(2) Her lie on TV that a "web developer" was responsible for her fake college degree given the proof that she first lied about the degree on November 2, 1989 in the Clermont Sun newspaper.

(3) Her ties to Larry Householder. The fact that Householder recruited her to run as for State Rep on the "Householder platform."

(4) Her ties to Bob Tax including the fact that she chaired the Taft for Secretary of State and Taft for Governor campaigns.

(5) Her votes to raise taxes in Ohio and the subsequent destruction of Ohio's economy because of her votes.

(6) Her vote to BAN GUNS.

(7) Her lack of respect and violation of the House Ethics Rules when she called a war hero a "coward" on the House Floor.

Yesterday the folks at the Survey USA poll released an updated poll showing 48% of likely voters currently behind Jean Schmidt, 40% with Vic Wulsin and 12% either with me, Nate Noy, or undecided. Various media outlets and blogs reported these results with the headline “Jean Schmidt ahead 8 points in OH-2 or Jean Schmidt winning.”

There is a serious fallacy in the above headlines. Here is why:

(1) What 500 or so voters would do if the election were held on October 17 is hardly a valid indicator of what 200,000 voters will likely do in three weeks. A lot can and WILL change between now and November 7.
(2) 77% of the voters in this district are Independent! The poll only uses a fraction of these likely voters in its results.
(3) We are not even sure where these 500 people live. A valid poll should represent 77% independent voters with a consistent breakdown by county. About 20% of the voters reside in the rural counties, my guess is Survey USA did not venture outside of the 513 area code when they conducted their poll. If this poll were conducted in Loveland, Ohio (Jean’s hometown) then one would expect her to be winning, if it were conducted in Piketon, Ohio then Nate Noy would have 80% of the vote.

The only way a candidate is “winning” this race is if ballots have already been cast. I personally know a number of people that have already voted absentee, and they have ALL already voted for ME, NOT Vic or Jean.

Additionally there are still at least four major candidate forum events that will take place between now and November 7. Factor in the various television interviews that have yet to air and what I’m about to say makes perfect logical sense.

Our internal polling shows in excess of 70% of the voters in OH-2 are undecided. That’s right 70%. A lot will happen between now and November 7, and one thing I’m certain of is that no candidate has secured enough votes as of today to be considered “winning” this election.

You WILL NOT see the media report a 70% undecided number. Why is that you ask? Because 70% undecided does not sell newspapers or get viewers to watch the nightly news. However, it is the truth! Something the media loves to overlook this time of year.

Nate Noy “Outs” Vic Wulsin; “Compliments” Jean Schmidt at LWV Event

The Scioto County League of Women Voters conducted its annual Meet the Candidates Night on Monday in Portsmouth Ohio. The event included various candidates from the Scioto County area but only one candidate for the Second Congressional District race for the U.S. House of Representatives actually bothered to attend. Independent write-in candidate Nate Noy took full advantage of the decision by Victoria Wulsin and Jean Schmidt to continue to ignore the rural region of Ohio-2.

Noy’s presentation included why voters should NOT vote for him. Additionally Noy provided the conservative Christian audience (which included a radio coverage) evidence that Victoria Wulsin appeared at a Gay Pride Parade last year and advocates bringing abortions to Africa as a form of birth control. Noy stated: "I’ve known all along that Victoria Wulsin is a ‘San Francisco Democrat’ she is a very progressive liberal. I previously had a deal in place with her staff to debate and I promised NOT to expose her for what she really is. Since she opted to pull a page from the Jean Schmidt school of campaigning and ‘cut and run’ from my debates with her I warned her staff that this would happen and I will continue to assure the voters of Ohio know her for what she really is."

Noy added: “One of the questions presented to the entire group was to ‘provide a compliment toward your opponent.’ My compliment of Jean Schmidt drew a roar of laughter from the crowd. I complimented Jean for ‘doing what she is told.’ I illustrated how when Jean Schmidt was told to vote for a gun ban in Miami Township, she voted for a gun ban. When she was part of the corrupt Larry Householder and Bob Tax regime as a State Rep and told to vote for the highest tax increase in Ohio history she obliged without a second thought. And when she was told to call a war hero and 37-year member of the Marine Corps a ‘coward’ on the House Floor she again did exactly as she was told. One thing I will say for Jean Schmidt: she does what she is told without a second thought.”

Noy concluded: “The issues I pointed out regarding Wulsin and Schmidt are obvious. This District needs a conservative that thinks for himself. NOT some puppet of a Party or someone that believes in special rights for homosexuals and advocates the utilization of abortion as a form of birth control. It’s about Ohio-2.”

Ohio Second Congressional District independent write-in candidate Nate Noy today continued on the path of his anti-corruption campaign trail by announcing that WKRC Channel 12 has violated Title 47 of the United States Code section 315 and that he intends to pursue an immediate legal action against the station unless the issue is immediately rectified.

Noy who holds a JD stated: “ The Communications Act of 1934 as amended in Title 47 of the USC is very explicit in section 315: ‘If any licensee shall permit any person who is a legally qualified candidate for any public office to use a broadcasting station, he shall afford equal opportunities to all other such candidates for that office in the use of such broadcasting station.’ By airing this debate without me Channel 12 has subjected itself to section 312 of the code administrative sanctions.”

Section 312 of the code states: “The Commission may revoke any station license or construction permit for willful or repeated failure to allow reasonable access to or to permit purchase of reasonable amounts of time for the use of a broadcasting station, other than a non-commercial educational broadcast station, by a legally qualified candidate for Federal elective office on behalf of his candidacy.”

Noy added: “I will attempt to negotiate an alternative settlement with Channel 12 however the code and the subsequent Becker case make this an iron-clad rule. The teeth that the penalty carries in this type of case under the code have some very serious bite, in fact in addition to a potential $1,000,000 fine I could actually end up with Channel 12’s license to broadcast.”

In closing Noy added: “The law is the law. Some in the media may believe they can take my anti-corruption campaign lightly. However, they have picked the proverbial wrong little guy to mess with this time. I will see this issue through no matter the cost. And this should put others on clear notice that if they even consider breaking the law in their elections coverage that they will be next on my list.”

Cincinnati Enquirer: Too Lazy; Too Incompetent; or Too Dishonest?

Fact: On July 31, 2005 the Cincinnati Enquirer endorsed Jean Schmidt for Congress and cited her "file card memory" as one of the primary reasons for giving her an endorsement.

Fact: In April of this year Jean Schmidt gave sworn testimony (which is a matter of public record) that she does not remember what most people would consider significant events in her life such as: the kind of college degree she has; what years she attended college; and the reason for her to have a website.

These two facts are a significant contradiction. Leading most logical minds to form one of four conclusions:

(1) The Enquirer was aware of Schmidt's testimony but is far too dishonest to share the truth with the public. Since they have endorsed her as having a "file card memory" any coverage of this revelation by Schmidt would be an embarrassment to the paper.

(2) The Enquirer is simply too lazy to cover the story. They know the truth but no one there has the energy to type up an article and share the truth with the public, instead they are too busy writing about Jean's new $40,000+ SUV.

(3) The Enquirer does not employ anyone that is actually competent enough to read the public record and expose this inconsistency. (I highly doubt this since I've met Jon Craig, he is a good reporter and quite competent.)

(4) Jean Schmidt lied in her sworn testimony and really does have a "file card memory." Which leads us to the rhetorical question of: Is the Enquirer Too Lazy; Too Incompetent; or Too Dishonest to cover this lie?

Jean Schmidt’s Vote to BAN GUNS Exposed

Ohio Second Congressional District independent write-in candidate Nate Noy today continued on the path of his anti-corruption campaign trail by exposing Congresswoman Jean Schmidt as an enemy of the 2nd Amendment. Noy posted his findings on his website www.natenoy.com.

Nate Noy stated: "No true protector of the 2nd Amendment would EVER vote in favor of a GUN BAN. The right to bear arms is a fundamental and Constitutional right of Americans that protects law abiding citizens from criminals. When we take away the right to own a gun we open ourselves up to more criminal acts. Progressive liberals and people like Jean Schmidt seem to miss the point that when you ban guns the crack dealer down the street is NOT going to march down to the local police station and hand his over without a fight. We don't have car jackings or home invasions in places like Adams, Brown or Pike Counties, because if some criminal tries that around here they will get SHOT. Take away our guns and the nation will be a proverbial free-for-all for the criminals and the terrorists."

Noy added: "The fact that Jean Schmidt previously voted to BAN GUNS is my primary concern here. It's already been established that she is a political puppet. In 1991 she thought banning guns was ok. Then she hooked up with other corrupt politicians and decided that she could milk the gun lobby for money and win votes by pretending to defend the 2nd Amendment, this makes me physically ill. What happens if the ACLU or some anti-gun lobby decides to pay her more money for her vote? Or heaven forbid what happens if there is a public backlash against the rights of gun owners because of things like the recent school shootings? If her puppet masters tell her that she'll win votes by banning guns it's pretty obvious she'll flip-flop without a second thought."

Noy also explored an underlying issue to this latest discovery into Schmidt's past: "How ironic is it that Jean's buddy is the one that lobbied Miami Township to overturn this ban? The article clearly implies that Jean pulled some strings to get this ban overturned, to me this is corruption in action."

Noy closed by stating: "Jean Schmidt does not possess her OWN theory on the role of government. Anyone that flip-flops on such a critical issue as the 2nd Amendment can NEVER be trusted by anyone. I vow to NEVER under ANY circumstance vote against the 2nd Amendment. In fact I believe a number of the laws we currently have on the books are unconstitutional and I will work aggressively to have those laws overturned when elected."

Jean Schmidt's New Ad Campaign "Comical"

Ohio Second Congressional District independent write-in candidate Nate Noy today continued on the path of his anti-corruption campaign trail by offering comments towards Jean Schmidt's new attack advertising campaign that was launched over the weekend and directed at Victoria Wulsin.

Noy stated: "Although I fully agree with Jean Schmidt's assertion that Victoria Wulsin as a progressive liberal would raise taxes if elected, I find it quite comical that Jean Schmidt has the gull the be the one pointing this out to the public. Jean Schmidt was a puppet of Larry Householder and Bob Tax himself when she served as a State Rep for Ohio."

Noy added: "As part of the corrupt Householder-Taft regime Jean Schmidt voted for the one of the highest tax increases in Ohio history. She also cast one of the decisive votes to raise Ohio's gas tax. Not only that, Jean has received generous contributions from the oil lobby. Now SHE is accusing Vic Wulsin of proposing to further raise taxes. Jean Schmidt forever rescinded her right to raise this issue when SHE directly helped destroy Ohio's economy with her previous votes for massive tax hikes."

Noy concluded: "I am the only candidate in this race the voters can trust to NEVER vote for any form of tax increase. I am a Supply Side Economist that prescribes to Reaganomics. I'm the candidate with a BA in Economics and the MBA from The Ohio State University. Jean Schmidt doesn't even know what kind of degree she has if you believe her sworn testimony from April, but I KNOW it's NOT in Econ. Vic Wulsin is a MD, NOT an Economist. Neither of my opponents seem to have a clue regarding the dire ramifications that raising taxes will have on the economy. And for Jean Schmidt to raise this issue is the funniest thing I've heard since the Ohio Elections Commission reprimanded her for lying about her fake college degree in April."

Victoria Wulsin Added to List of "Debate Dodgers"

Following another highly successful public appearance Wednesday at the Mason Christian Village Candidate's Forum by Ohio Second Congressional District independent write-in candidate Nate Noy and on the heels of endorsements by the America First Party and Ross Perot's Reform Party Nate has announced that Victoria Wulsin is guilty of "the pot calling the kettle black."

Noy stated: "Vic Wulsin's campaign staff invited my communications director and I to her Montgomery Road campaign headquarters last month to discuss the scheduling of debates. However, after seeing me in action in Adams and Warren County and hearing me on the 700 WLW Bill Cunningham show they have decided to back out of their previous commitment."

Noy added: "Our campaign is gaining traction every day. We recently taped an interview with Channel 12, and will soon complete the scheduling of interviews for Channels 19 and 9. But, neither Jean Schmidt nor Vic Wulsin have the guts to appear with me in a debate format. What makes this truly ironic is the fact that Dr. Wulsin made such a big deal about Jean Schmidt being 'afraid' to debate her, now it seems she is guilty of the exact thing she called out Representative Schmidt for."

Noy also included: "My staff and I wanted to bring the seven debates to seven counties as Vic Wulsin had proposed to Jean Schmidt. We all make mistakes in life, how we deal with the repercussions of our own actions is a reflection to the world of the strength of our character and morals. This is often the defining line that separates a liberal from a true conservative in our society.

I have observed that most liberals are hatemongers. They throw around accusations and never fess up when they make a mistake (which they often do.) On the flip side when a true conservative makes a mistake they will always say "I screwed up, and I'm sorry."

Case in point, the recent exchange between Chris Finney and David Pepper. Long story short David who is rumored to be a closet homosexual (he has a pink website, is 34 or so years old, has no girlfriend and lives in his parent's basement) and who is heir to a $100 million family fortune printed some derogatory things about Chris in his plan to improve Cincinnati City government. Chris is a well respected attorney in the community and NOT running for office like Mr. Pepper is. Chris is a well known ultra-conservative, a working man and someone that employs a number of people in the community.

Mr. Pepper held a so-called press conference to unveil his "plan" that essentially included calling Chris a crook because he has a business relationship with Mr. Pepper's opponent. I believe around six people attended including one newspaper and one radio reporter. Anyway, Chris was upset and went into a tirade and used a few expletives directed at Mr. Pepper and his female assistant during the conference. The press blew the story up and slanted a story to make Chris look like a world class (insert your own expletive here.)

Yesterday Chris called everyone involved, admitted he'd gone overboard and offered a heartfelt and sincere apology for his actions. That's what a true conservative does!

I don't remember many examples in history of liberals apologizing when they are wrong. Why? Because the mission of the liberal is anarchy. The liberal movement is inherently evil. Its mission is to decay the moral fabric on which our society was built. The founding fathers would likely have considered many of today's liberal movements just short of treason if this were 200 years ago.

Earlier today someone told me: "Nate I can't support you. Your platform is too 1950's." I am fine with that. I have said on numerous occasions that NOT EVERYONE should vote for me. Liberals have no business supporting me.

If you are wondering, I met Chris Finney in August of this year. We have spoken a few times and even though I don't know him very well I can tell you Chris Finney is a great American. I sent him an e-mail asking for advice a few weeks back and he responded that my duty was to:

(1) God
(2) Family
(3) Country

And in that order. I agree with Chris. And can you imagine what our society would look like if we all prescribed to that worldview? Just think about THAT for a minute.

"Finally" were the words spoken late yesterday by Ohio Second Congressional District independent write-in candidate Nate Noy on the path of his anti-corruption campaign trail when informed that the US House Ethics Committee had broken its longstanding bipartisan agreement to ignore obvious violations of the US House Code of Ethics by its members.

Noy stated: "When Jean Schmidt was reprimanded for a 'reckless disregard for truth' and making 'false and misleading statements' by the Ohio Elections Commission in April she also violated Rules 1 and 2 of the US House Code of Ethics. I've been sitting back and waiting for the House to finally begin enforcement of these rules once again."

Noy added: "Jean Schmidt was found guilty by the OEC for lying about her fake college degree. Then she tried to cover it up by blaming it on a web developer. Subsequently we uncovered the PROOF that she began this lie when she first ran for office in 1989. The US House Ethics Committee will have little choice now but to take a close look at these indiscretions by Ms. Schmidt. Ironically, if Jean opts to attempt to lie to the Committee she would violate a federal statute that makes lying to the Committee a federal crime and she would face a 5-year federal jail sentence."

Noy who holds a JD also offered a prediction on Ms. Schmidt's likely penalty from the Committee: "I fully expect Jean Schmidt to be expelled from the US House of Representatives. However, this entire process does take a few months. If Jean somehow wins the election in November I expect OH-2 to be holding a special election by January to replace her. Jean could make this easier on everyone by simply completing her current term and dropping out of this race."

In closing Noy added: "The reason I was forced to run as a write-in candidate this time was the State of Ohio ballot laws that were actually found to be Unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court in late August. Even though I am a certified candidate by the FEC and Board of Elections my campaign still faces an uphill battle as a write-in. If Jean somehow wins in November, the public can rest assured that my name will actually appear on the ballot in January when there is a special election to replace Jean after her expulsion from the US House."

Q What kind of college degree do you have?
A. I'm not sure. I think it's a B.A., or is it a Bachelor of Science? I don't know. I would have to say I don't know.

A. At this point, I think it's a good question. I don't have an answer why I would have it at this point.

Noy added: "This is only the tip if the iceberg. Jean Schmidt has said a number of other things under oath that convey her elitist attitude and that are a reflection of her inability to think for herself. Why do you think this woman continues to refuse to debate? Obviously she is the most incompetent member in the history of Congress and she is lost without her script writers. Noy who earlier in the day confirmed his appearances on Channel 12, Channel 19 and the 700 WLW radio Bill Cunningham Show for upcoming elections coverage had been working diligently for three days to be included in the Monday event. However, the events organizers Terry Brennan and Sue Morrissey have refused him access to the event. Noy stated: “I explained to these individuals that I am a certified candidate by the Board of Elections and that I have a FEC PAC. However, they will not let me speak to the public at their event.”

Noy added: “We all know that Jean Schmidt won’t appear in public, and for once she may have a good reason to avoid an event. AMOS looks to me like a shell for progressive liberals. I assume Sherrod Brown, John Cranley and Vic Wulsin will get up on stage and promote their pro-homosexual, anti-guns, and pro-abortion agendas. OH-2 Voter: “Jean Schmidt is a WITCH”

Ohio Second Congressional District independent write-in candidate Nate Noy today continued on the path of his anti-corruption campaign trail by releasing comments he recently heard from a Second Congressional District voter regarding Jean Schmidt. While on the campaign trail Noy encountered an OH-2 Ohio resident who is a likely voter. When asked what he thought about Jean Schmidt, the voter responded that “That woman is a witch.”

The voter explained to Noy that he had met Ms. Schmidt and she was “the most unpleasant person I’ve ever met, she’s a witch.” The voter said he was waiting to gain access to a local facility and Schmidt arrived and attempted to circumvent security protocol. Schmidt requested immediate access to the facility and was denied. She responded by saying: “Do you know who I am?” The security guard responded: “I don’t care who you are lady, you are not getting into this facility without clearance.” The voter said that Schmidt went into a rant and tirade demanding immediate access.

Nate Noy had the following to say about Schmidt’s conduct: “This report comes as no surprise to me. They don’t call her ‘Mean Jean’ for nothing you know. Schmidt is an elitist, as is her evil twin sister Jennifer Black. When I was at the OEC last month all they did was tell stories about who had box seats at the Reds and who had ridden in the pace car at the Indy 500. These people think they are above the normal rules of society. This is simply another clear example of that attitude.”

The White House release includes: ‘Since he took office, the President has increased funding for border security by 60 percent. Border agents have apprehended and sent home more than 4.5 million people coming into the country illegally including about 350,000 with criminal records. The U.S. border must be open to trade and tourism and closed to criminals, drug dealers, and terrorists.

Schmidt’s version states: ‘Since 2001, federal funding for border security has increased by 60 percent. Border agents have apprehended and sent home more than 4.5 million people coming into the country illegally – including about 350,000 with criminal records.’

Noy added: “Every college student knows that if you copy verbatim information and try to pass it off as your own you must cite the original source. I guess since Jean Schmidt has given previous sworn testimony that she ‘does not know what kind of college degree she has’ this should come as no surprise to anyone.”

Matt Hurley over at massdiscussion.blogspot.com today posed a number of questions and comments to me that I will take the time to respond to.
(1) Where was I during the May primary?

On May 2, 2006 I was still working for IWLA a non-profit trade association as Director of Government and Legal Services. I resolved 15 issues for members of our association regarding UCC Article 7, I had a conference call with OSHA to discuss the IWLA / OSHA Alliance, I also was working on our lobbying effort for H.R. 1956 the Business Activity Tax.

(2) Why did I not raise my Jean Schmidt issues in May?

I had a 65-70 hour a week job and did not yet know the truth behind Jean’s corrupt origins involving Larry Householder or her long history of lying.

(3) Where is the media coverage on Jean’s plagiarism?

It’s coming Matt. Today I spoke with the papers that ran her original story and you can expect some subsequent follow-up from those that have been duped.

(4) Am I helping the conservative cause?

RINO’s are destroying the party. They should go ahead and put a D behind their names because that’s what they really are. We need to purge them from the Party. Look at the corruption, it’s caused by the RINO’s NOT the true conservatives. This party needs to return to what Ronald Reagan did for it in the 1980’s; anyone that stands in the way should become collateral damage, including of course Jean Schmidt. For long-term success this is EXACTLY what I believe the party must do.

We can purge the RINO’s Matt. If that means a few years of electing progressive liberals then so be it. The Party needs to reclaim its conservative base. Working with the Blue Dog D’s this war can still be won.

Matt people like you can go a long way in helping this cause. By supporting someone as corrupt as Jean Schmidt you allow this party to be further hijacked into the liberal abyss.

Noy also explored how the DCCC seems to be taking credit for breaking this story: “I broke this story on 9/21 with a press release. The Cincy Nation.com Whistleblower was the only one to run with it that day. The next day the DCCC picked it up. The liberal blogs seem to think the DCCC uncovered this, not true. My guess is they have a few people that do the same type of thing Jean got caught doing and there is a long-standing “gentlemen’s agreement” between the RNCC and DCCC not to rat each other out. It took a third party like me with a mission of exposing corruption to bring this to the surface.”

Noy further added: “It actually is ok with me if the DCCC wants to claim my story without citing the source (plagiarism perhaps?) As long as the truth about Jean Schmidt gets out there then it doesn’t really matter how it gets there. Jean Schmidt has voted to ban guns, raise taxes, and is tied to corruption, she is NOT a conservative and I can’t believe she even has the gumption to call herself Republican. But I’m confident that the voters are educated now and her days of fooling the public are nearing their end.”

Wal Mart’s other Dirty Little Secret

Did you know that Wal Mart, Home Depot, Rite Aid, J. C. Penny’s and virtually every large retailer in the United States costs you and me, the US consumers, millions of dollars every single day by illegally abusing their vendors?

This article explores retailer chargebacks and provides a focus towards:
· How the relationships between large retailers and their vendors are ones of economic dependency;
· An exploration of the predatory, opportunistic and illegal practices of the dominate firm retailers;
· The impact of unfair and abusive chargebacks (a.k.a. post-audit deductions and retailer expense offsets) not only on vendors, but also the entire supply chain and ultimately the end consumer.

Unless you work in logistics or auditing you likely have never heard the terms: chargebacks, post-audit deductions, vendor compliance penalties, or retailer expense offsets (collectively referred to as chargebacks). Odds are you don’t really care what these terms mean and you figure if they were really all that bad some lawmaker or regulator would have already done something to stop them.

The simplest way to explain chargebacks is to illustrate some specific examples that were taken from the actual vendor compliance guides of various major retailers:

· If a vendor sends a shipment of product to a retailer a single day earlier than originally scheduled they face a 5% fine (measured by the cost of the merchandise); send it one day late and the fine is 10%.
· Make a mistake with a bar code and face a $3,000 fine.
· Transpose two digits of a store id number: $250.
· Miscount the total units shipped on the packing slip by one: $250.
· Have a pallet displace during transport and cause some minor damage: $10,000 fine (or more) and the retailer will also refusal to accept shipment.
· Send a box that is one ounce over the 40lb weight limit and pay a $100 fine.
· Send a package that violates more than one of the above and receive fines for EVERY violation: if a vendor makes a really big mistake they can end up actually owing more to the retailer than the value of the merchandise received, i.e., they pay the retailer to take the product.

The above is just the tip of the iceberg. Most compliance guides include “administrative fees” of $250-$500 per the occurrence of any issue. (Think about that one for a moment: Wal Mart creates a rule that is virtually impossible to comply with 100% of the time. You mess up, they fine you. Then they charge you an extra $500 so they can pay someone $5.15 an hour for the four or five minutes it may take to correct the problem.)

Chargebacks have been reported to reach well into the six-figure or even seven-figure range. Some distribution centers actually employ more compliance auditors than material handlers, and a few retailers have been known to literally pull out a tape measure and assess a fine (plus the administrative fees of course) for a label being fractions of an inch off the schematic.

Still don’t quite understand the problem here? Think about chargebacks in terms of a couple of real world parallels for a moment:

· Everyone has likely placed postage on a letter that included the instructions “affix postage here.” Most of us have placed the stamp at least somewhat off the exact square it is intended for. Imagine if you will that the utility company on the receiving end of your letter fined you $500 for not placing your stamp in the exact location as instructed? Further they give you the ultimatum that you either can pay them the $500 or they will shut off your electric. That is EXACTLY what the retailers are doing to their vendors each and every day, but the problem is far worse than this example.

· Most people also had a lucky friend growing up. By lucky I mean their mom or dad was an accountant, attorney or doctor and they always had the really cool toys and sports equipment. This “friend” was also likely to be the one making the rules of the games the kids of the neighborhood played, since after all it was his stuff everyone was playing with. He would also often arbitrarily change the rules of the game mid-stream because his team was losing. And of course on more than one occasion someone would protest a rules change and the lucky friend would threaten to take his ball and go home, leaving everyone the option of either accepting the new and usually biased rule or not playing at all. That is the decision that faces the vendors of large retailers; the vendors can either live with an abusive relationship or opt to quit doing business all together.

If you ask the Wal Mart and Rite Aides of the world whether there is any legitimacy to the above claim they will tell you that vendor compliance must be forced upon their business partners to drive efficiencies in the supply chain. They will also note that most vendors enter into these relationships fully aware of the penalties the vendor will face for non-compliance. What Wal Mart fails to disclose is:
· Most retailers have turned chargebacks into a profit center.
· Most retailers have completely different sets of rules than all other retailers; meaning that each vendor must manage 5, 10, 20 or even 100 different sets of compliance requirements.
· The Uniform Commercial Code the law that in some form governs the relationship between vendors and retailers in every state expressly forbids the retailer from assessing a “penalty” on their vendors which is exactly what they are doing.
· That this type of practice violates numerous state and federal antitrust laws but the US Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice (the federal agencies responsible for enforcement) have not taken any significant actions in this arena and short of Congressional Inquires that force the issue they likely never will.
· That Canada and countries in the European Union including France and Germany not only have laws that prevent this type of behavior (economic dependency laws) but they actually enforce such laws.
· That virtually every lawsuit brought by a vendor (almost always involving a vendor that has already been put out of business by this practice) against the retailers for this issue has been settled out of court with strict non-disclosure terms.
· That no one vendor is foolish enough to ever challenge this practice because the retailers have the power to permanently black ball the vendor and put them out of business.
· That most vendors now consider chargebacks as a “price of doing business” with a large retailer, this forces them to pad their price to offset lost revenue, which in turn directly leads to the end consumer being forced to pay more for all products.

Chargebacks are examples of the opportunistic, abusive and illegal practices that virtually every major retailer forces upon their own vendors. This in turn prompts the vendors to raise prices and the end consumer ultimately bares the cost of this predatory practice by the retailers.

So the question of the day is: what can be done to end this abuse?

The unification of all vendors to pool their combined leverage would be one great approach. However, no individual vendor is willing to take the risk of organizing such an effort. In fact, vendors are not even willing to join small groups to address this as they fear they will be ostracized or black balled by the retailers for taking such a stance.
There are has been some activity by trade associations in various industries to battle abusive chargebacks, but each trade association, as they should, has the special interest of its own group at the forefront of its agenda and a general solution to the problem will never make the radar screen of a special interest group not specifically created to address this.

Vendors certainly have legal recourse at their disposal, but lawsuits are rarely a good thing in our economy. The UCC code and anti-trust law is the most likely means currently available to bring an end to this illegal activity. The American Bar Association Section of Antitrust law has a position on anti-trust in general. In a letter to the FTC dated 2/13/03 and titled Report on Antitrust Policy Objectives the ABA Section of Antitrust law noted: “the Report recommends that economic analysis, i.e., in terms of efficiencies, should play a central role in the application and enforcement of antitrust laws.”

There is little question that abusive chargebacks are highly inefficient. There also is little doubt that in the litigation-happy world in which we live that 1000’s of trial attorney’s have cracked a really big smile as they read this and realize this article has just made them aware of a new class action lawsuit opportunity. Hopefully cooler heads prevail and this issue can be resolved with good old fashion grassroots and advocacy efforts that lead to a public backlash.

You may ask yourself: what would the elimination of this truly accomplish? One argument is that by doing away with this system those $19.95 pair of loafers you are wearing could be purchased for $16.95 and you can buy one more gallon of gas. Even if consumers don’t directly reap all of the benefits of this, at least the large retailers of the world will be forced abandon a practice that reeks of Microsoft (an issue for another day.)

I, Nate Noy intend to make illegal chargebacks an issue that receives significant attention during my campaign. If elected I intend to educate fellow lawmakers regarding this practice and inquire as to why the FTC allows such a practice to persist absent any government intervention. The role of government is to protect us and by eliminating abusive chargebacks a result will be created that will lead to direct benefits for U.S. consumers.

I assume if you talk to Jean she’ll claim to have signed the Declaration of Independence along with Thomas Jefferson and John Hanncock. Jean is corrupt, her ties back to Larry Householder and Bob Taft are ample evidence of her character, this blatant act of plagiarism is nothing more than additional proof of her low moral standards, complete lack of integrity, and highly suspect character.”

The final numbers were 48% to 42%, so where did Jean’s 20-point lead go in May?” Noy added: “The poll referred to me as ‘some other candidate’ which is the prerogative of the pollsters, but they are cheating the public by not recognizing my very legitimate campaign, we are certified by the Board of Elections and we have a FEC PAC, we are a factor in this race.”

I’m sure there will be inquires by the ethics and disciplinary committees of the State Bar and Supreme Court of Ohio. Econ 101

Economics is a subject that is often overlooked in our educational system. While most high school curriculums include subjects such as advanced math or physics, often only college students and those at elite prep schools have the “joy” of experiencing an education in this critical subject.

A great resource for learning more about basis econ is Wikipedia.com. I have borrowed the below graphs from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supply_and_demand. For the purposes of this illustration I’ll assume the reader either has a basic grounding in economic theory or has taken a few minutes to review the information contained at the above link.

Simple supply and demand curves

The basic concept of supply and demand is actually not all that complex for most people once they spend a little time getting their hands around it. In a nutshell the relationship or intersection between the demand curve (what consumers are able and willing to acquire) and the supply curve (what business is able and willing to produce) determines the quantity of product that will be produced (x axis) and the price that will be charge for the product or group of products (y axis).

Understanding the above is critical to understanding how our entire economy operates and more importantly the impact of various decisions and activities of consumers, businesses and the role of government.

Once you can embrace the above concept the next critical thing to understand is what happens to price and quantity when one of the above curves shifts.

Demand curve shifts

Below I have provided direct information from Wikipedia. In layperson terms the impact of a shift is demand is as follows (keep in mind that the below assumes the basic concept of “all else being equal” i.e., we assume that the supply curve does not change):

Demand curve shifts up (increase): Prices go up and Quantity produced goes up.
Demand curve shifts down (decrease): Prices go down and Quantity produced goes down.

Per Wikipedia: “When more people want something, the quantity demanded at all prices will tend to increase. This can be referred to as an increase in demand. The increase in demand could also come from changing tastes, where the same consumers desire more of the same good than they previously did. Increased demand can be represented on the graph as the curve being shifted right, because at each price point, a greater quantity is demanded. An example of this would be more people suddenly wanting more coffee. This will cause the demand curve to shift from the initial curve D0 to the new curve D1. This raises the equilibrium price from P0 to the higher P1. This raises the equilibrium quantity from Q0 to the higher Q1. In this situation, we say that there has been an increase in demand which has caused an extension in supply.

Conversely, if the demand decreases, the opposite happens. If the demand starts at D1 and then decreases to D0, the price will decrease and the quantity supplied will decrease—a contraction in supply. Notice that this is purely an effect of demand changing. The quantity supplied at each price is the same as before the demand shift (at both Q0 and Q1). The reason that the equilibrium quantity and price are different is the demand is different.”

Supply curve shifts

To follow the same assumptions from our previous review of shifts in the demand curve the impact of a supply curve shift is:

Supply curve shifts down (increase): Prices go up and Quantity produced goes down.
Supply curve shifts up (decrease): Prices go down and Quantity produced goes up.

Per Wikipedia: “When the suppliers' costs change the supply curve will shift. For example, assume that someone invents a better way of growing wheat so that the amount of wheat that can be grown for a given cost will increase. Producers will be willing to supply more wheat at every price and this shifts the supply curve S0 to the right, to S1—an increase in supply. This causes the equilibrium price to decrease from P0 to P1. The equilibrium quantity increases from Q0 to Q1 as the quantity demanded increases at the new lower prices. Notice that in the case of a supply curve shift, the price and the quantity move in opposite directions.

Conversely, if the quantity supplied decreases, the opposite happens. If the supply curve starts at S1 and then shifts to S0, the equilibrium price will increase and the quantity will decrease. Notice that this is purely an effect of supply changing. The quantity demanded at each price is the same as before the supply shift (at both Q0 and Q1). The reason that the equilibrium quantity and price are different is the supply is different.

There are only 4 possible movements to a demand/supply curve diagram. The demand curve can move to the left and right, and the supply curve can also move only to the left or right. If they do not move at all then they will stay in the middle where they already are.”

Bringing it all together

Most people would agree that as far as consumers are concerned the following holds true:
Prices go up: BAD for consumers
Prices go down: GOOD for consumers
Quantity goes up: GOOD for consumers
Quantity goes down: BAD for consumers

You can apply the above to most products; take gasoline for example. Every consumer would rather pay $1.65 a gallon for gas than $3.30. Likewise, if anyone remembers the gas crisis in the late 1970’s, no one wants to go to the local station and find that gas has been rationed or there is not any available.

If you are still with me the below table illustrates the impact of shifts on the two curves on price and quantity and whether this is a GOOD or BAD thing for consumers:

Once the above table makes sense economic theory really isn’t all that complex. Clearly consumers are generally rational beings and prefer GOOD over BAD outcomes. Given that assumption we find:

In summary shifts in the demand curve may be good or bad on consumers; however shifts in the supply curve have clear consequences: if the supply curve shifts up and to the left (a decrease) this is BAD; alternatively if the supply curve shifts down and to the right (an increase) this is GOOD.

Every rational person I’ve ever met in life wants to maximize the GOOD and minimize the BAD. Since we have proven that by definition a decrease in supply is BAD and an increase in supply is GOOD; I advocate protecting the supply curve from interference that causes BAD outcomes and I promote ideas that result in an increase in supply, or GOOD ideas.

Noy provided the following: “When Jean Schmidt was asked about October 24, 1993 she remembered the day as if she had just watched a movie about it. She stated that she ‘had to use the restroom [sic]’ before the race and that the line was too long. She added that she thought she would use it during the race but decided to hold it for 3 hours and 19+ minutes.” Noy added: “How can this woman remember having to take a pee 13 years ago but she doesn’t even know what kind of college degree she has or can’t recall what years she attended school?”

Noy believes that Schmidt suffers from “selective memory” problems. He added: “Once again Jean Schmidt conveyed a message that Jean is about Jean and no one else. She has perfect recollection of her bodily functions but when it comes to issues that matter Jean doesn’t have a clue if her script writers are not there holding her hand. No wonder this woman has no interest in debating either me or Victoria Wulsin.”

Noy closed with a statement in jest: “If Jean is willing to debate, I promise to assure that there is a port-a-potty set aside with her name on it at the facility of the event. The voters are tired of her ‘bull Schmidt’ and a debate is just the laxative the people of the Second Congressional District need to relieve us from the proverbial constipation Jean Schmidt has caused OH-2 since she took office last year.”

Noy who is a true conservative is now calling for Schmidt’s withdraw from the Congressional race stated: “Given Bob Ney’s recent conviction; Ms. Schmidt’s other ethics violations such as her lies about a college degree and subsequent lies to cover up the fact of this 16-year fabrication of the truth; plus her ties to other unethical individuals such as Tom Noe and Bob Taft I am hopeful that it is clear to everyone that not only can Jean Schmidt not be trusted but she is likely headed to the same jail cell as the aforementioned corrupt politicians. If Jean Schmidt has any integrity or dignity left it is time for her to step aside, face the justice she has coming to her, and not risk stealing votes from a true conservative that will truly represent the values of the people of the Ohio Second Congressional District.”

The link includes a picture of Schmidt in Cuba as well as her name listed as an official participant in the lobbyist funded event. The trip is along the same lines that led to the Bob Ney conviction.

Noy added further detail regarding Schmidt’s involvement in this latest scandal: “Jean Schmidt actually wrote a column advocating that ‘it is time to lift the embargo towards Cuba to help our farmers [sic].’” A copy of Jean’s column can be obtained at the Clermont County library or through the Community Press Newspaper; it appeared in the spring of 2003.

I am rather concerned that the Republican Party would ever allow this woman to remain on the ticket, but given what I know about Schmidt I’d chalk this up to ‘Jean being Jean.’”

Recently sworn testimony given by Congresswoman Jean Schmidt last April in defense of her fake college degree case in the Ohio Elections Commission made its way to the Internet (http://i.gleeson.us/gb/0609/schmidt_deposition.pdf ) and many voters have begun asking how someone the Cincinnati Enquirer endorsed as having a “file card memory” could possibly remember so little about critical events in her life.

Ohio Second Congressional District independent write-in candidate Nate Noy who recently brought the now infamous “Photogate” case to the Ohio Elections Commission had this to share: “Schmidt’s sworn deposition provides keen insight into the memory of our ‘esteemed’ Congresswoman. While on the campaign trail I have been sharing Ms. Schmidt’s sworn testimony with likely voters, and all are shocked that the only ‘file cards’ Ms. Schmidt appears to remember are the ones her script writers provide her.”

Noy went on to provide some specific examples from Schmidt’s testimony and share an additional concern: “What really concerns me is not only Ms. Schmidt’s loss of memory but also her elitist attitude towards the voters that comes through loud and clear to anyone that takes a view minutes to review her testimony.”

The US needs to take immediate steps to levy significant tariffs on foreign imports and project jobs such as the ones we have just witnessed being lost.” Noy even referenced our founding fathers: “The Constitution was written with this kind of thing in mind. Even 220 years ago the need to protect our jobs was obvious. Global competition only works when there is a level playing field, and other countries such as China and Japan do not have to operate under the same regulatory standards as US companies do. If elected I pledge to protect American jobs and introduce legislation to add significant tariffs to foreign goods, just as the framers of our great Country intended.”

Companies such as Ford rely heavily on brand image and equity. Ms. Schmidt’s recent decision to purchase a $47,000 Chevy Tahoe sent a clear message to Ford and to the public at large. By going with Chevy Ms. Schmidt increased the likelihood that others would follow her lead and purchase a non-Ford product. Clearly Ms. Schmidt does not grasp the concept of branding and has little or no concern for protecting the jobs of the residents of Southern Ohio.”

The Proof Jean Schmidt was Larry Householder’s Puppet

I have been accused of whining about Jean Schmidt and “not living in the real world.” In fact when I filed three complaints against Jean Schmidt et al with the Ohio Elections Commission last Friday Barry Bennett responded to a local paper by saying: “He (Noy) doesn’t live in the real world,” he said. “He’s taking a real risk entering into the legal system. There are real repercussions for people that file false accusations.”

My response to Mr. Bennett is:

(1) Since “no body lives there” (reference made by Nixguy towards Pike, Scioto, Adams, and Brown Counties regarding McEwen’s victory in the May primary) it does not surprise me that Mr. Bennett does not consider Pike County the “real world.” I can assure him that I am very much grounded in the reality of the issues that face not only the voters in the four rural counties but all of OH-2.
(2) Mr. Bennett should have checked my bio before firing off a comment about me “entering into the legal system.” I’ve been here since I was representing indigent defendants back in 1997 (although I did take a few years off from the arena) when I obtained my law degree.
(3) I agree that there are in fact “real repercussions” for those who file frivolous claims, something I did not do in this case. However, what Mr. Bennett will soon find out this there are even harsher “real repercussions” for people who not only break the law, but actually commit elections falsification by fabricating excuses to the OEC under sworn testimony (like he did back in April.)
(4) I will be filing three more complaints tomorrow to bring the grand total to six. The most-nasty one for Jean and her crew is the fact that I have the 1989 Clermont Sun that included “the candidate’s responses” and Jean listed “two college degrees.” Oops! In April and May they continued to break ORC 3517.21 when they went on TV and claimed it was a “web developer’s mistake.” The same lie they told to the OEC. Unless Al Gore and Jean had the same web developer in 1989 I think that charade is over.

The above details how the Householder scheme worked and names some of the people he recruited. This is captured in a taped conversation from Chief of Staff Brett Buerck for the Ohio Speaker of the House Rep. Larry Householder when he tried to strong arm poor Doug Mink out of the ’02 primary. It includes:

“13:18 So, that's how are relationship with Jim Raussen originated. It's no different than our relationship with some other State Reps in the area. You may know now, like a Jean Schmidt, like a Tom Raga in Warren County and the Speaker went on the road all throughout the winter and the summer of 1999. 13:42 Got folks to run on what essentially was you know, kind of a Team Householder platform and then 13:50 my company started working with these individuals we ran their races and on Primary Day of 2000 we won 26 of the 28 races we were involved in.”

I hate to toss Raga’s name in with this, but the evidence is the evidence. Perhaps Ken needs to find another running mate?

By the way the OEC has delayed the probable cause hearing until 9:00am on August 24. I was more than happy to waive the time period required given the magic date involved for the hearing.

What the liberals will never tell you: Illegal Immigration and how it impacts the Economy

Earlier today I was reviewing a blog from the dark side of the political spectrum (the progressive liberals of course) and there was what I believe a misguided and uninformed discussion claiming that the 2003 tax cuts could have somehow resulted in the “killing of wages and job growth.” One critical issue, that for some reason a majority of liberals tend to ignore, is the economical impact of massive illegal immigration.

This is not at all a complicated issue to explain. All economic models are based on the assumption of “all else being equal.” The models also assume that we have a natural unemployment rate around 3.5%. (Don’t let any of those Keynesian economists try to feed you any of that 6% nonsense they spew.) This unemployment rate assumes normal birth and death rates. However, this model does NOT assume massive ways of illegal aliens that come into this country, take a significant number of jobs, and send 80-85% of their wages back to their home countries. (The social problems that surround this issue are a topic for another day.)

I managed a restaurant for a year near East Gate Mall in OH-2. My employees from Mexico were the hardest working individuals by far. The culture in Mexico is one that installs a work ethic that a number of Americans are clearly lacking, especially those that grow up with a sense of entitlement that the government forces upon them. Every manger out there in the entire service industry would likely be happy with a staff full of Mexican employees (and yes they were ALL from Mexico and as Mexican’s they considered it an insult to be referred to as Latino.)

I speak from first hand knowledge on the issue of entitlement as well, I myself grew up on Food Stamps in Pike County and most of the people living in government housing around me had a mentality that the government owed them something whether they were going to work for it or not. Luckily a majority of the people in Pike County had the same work ethic that those from Mexico are taught. As do most residents in Adams, Brown, Clermont, Scioto and Warren Counties; (and the part of Hamilton County in OH-2.) So, I washed dishes, served food and took out the maximum in student loans to get myself through school because I understood what hard work and trusting in God can lead to. I also witnessed this same mindset of entitlement that “it wasn’t my fault” or “I didn’t do it” when I represented indigent defendants my final year of law school.

Karl Marx would be very happy with our situation today. However, we have ample evidence that his theories don’t work out all that well when put into practice. John Locke on the other hand knew exactly what the role of government is supposed to be. Give him a read if you don’t know what I’m talking about: the 2nd Treatise of Civil Government by Locke (which not only is the place I’ve been getting my ideologies it just happens to also be a little document that Jefferson and the boys were citing verbatim when they drafted a little something called the Declaration and the Constitution.)

It’s easy to sit back and discuss theory when you’ve never had to live something. By all conventional measures I should be a yellow dog D. I’ve never received anything from any political party or politician. However, I HAVE been there and done that. I know that the theory of supply side economics really does work when properly implemented (Ronald Reagan proved that.) I can also say with a high degree of certainty that John Locke got it right and President Reagan knew that as well.

As always I welcome all counter arguments.

How should one respond to hatemongers of Christians?

Recently I was attacked in a forum by the ever-so-popular Anonymous poster:

Post: "Oh boy, just what we all need. Another bible thumperthinking god has spoken to, only, them and now theyare the chosen one to save the 2nd district !!

We are not afraid of your god, we are afraid of what you might do in your gods name !!

God Bless, separation of church and state !! Those old time drafters knew we would end up in a bigpile of schmidt if the government legislated morality!! In germany it was not moral to have brown eyes !! I think the wRong wing wackos are confused and tryingto cleanse the world of all brown eye !!”

I tried to respond with the below; however, the administrator of the board has not allowed my response:

Justice served in Jim Schifrin case – does Dusty Rhodes oppose the US Constitution? – And a guide to doing the right thing (in terms of loyalty etc.)

After running across Kimball Perry’s piece this morning regarding justice being served in a legal victory for Jim Schifrin (link below) I felt motivated to share some of my thoughts on this issue. I am posting the following to my blog: www.natenoy.com/blog and on Blogger.

Props to Jim Schifrin and his team for brining justice to this case. Another great example of the true power wielded by those that have embraced and harnessed the maximum value (some may label it the exploitation) of this great medium of informational exchange aka the Internet. (I guess Al Gore himself would be proud, oh wait a minute…… (1) Gore had nothing to do with the creation of the WWW, the DOD started that back in the 1970’s or before and (2) Gore’s roots trace all the way back to daddy, a family tree that hasn’t exactly been an advocate for justice.)

Back to the point, transparency is a great thing in our society. It’s something we should all have more of and Jim’s website is based on that concept as far as I can tell (no, I’ve never met or even corresponded with Jim as of today.) The other thing that jumps off the page at me in this story is a lesson in loyalty: selling out a friend will generally come back to bite you. Loyalty of course is built on trust and we should all be able to trust our friends 100%. I firmly believe that this trust should only be violated in extreme circumstances and NEVER for pure self-gain. A true friend will “always have your back.” Those of us with a network of such support can lead very fulfilling lives, those that do not eventually are exposed as the frauds they really are.

You may ask: so what if your loyal friend is engaged in something dishonest or immoral? What should you as the friend do about this? In my opinion you need to provide your friend with straight and honest feedback and explain why you believe something is wrong. If you can’t respect your friend’s opinion, even if they don’t agree with you on an issue, then you don’t really have a friend at all, only a “yes man.” (Non-PC verbiage intended here, I went to a small liberal arts college where they tried to brainwash me into thinking the term “freshman” was sexist and it was not “right” to open a door for a woman, back at ya WOO. (I guess a story for another day.)) If you feel like you MUST expose your friend for the public good (e.g. if your friend tells you he’s going to kill someone and you drive with him to buy a gun,) you should always disclose your plans to your friend beforehand (unless of course this would put you in physical danger) thus creating some due process for your friend to make the “right” choice.

An example of the above could be the following: one of your friends who lives near Loveland claims that she ran her 59th marathon in Philadelphia on 11/20/05. A local radio host (let’s just call him Billy C ) conducts an interview with your friend seeking a little truth and asks her where she’s been over the weekend. She tells him “in Philly competing in my 59th marathon [sic] “ and she relies on this fact to head off an intense inquiry into her mysterious absence for the last several days. A few weeks later you are doing some unrelated research and happen upon the official results page for the race. You decide to see how your friend did, but for some reason the only person with her last name listed in the official results is her daughter. You realize the marathon is also cross-references by hometown, but you find the only residents from Loveland that competed were her daughter and sister.

You think back to the radio interview where your friend made it quite clear that she had actually “ran her 59th marathon” and talked about how tired it made her. This appears to be a blatant lie, then it dawns on you that you know of dozens of similar lies, wow, what should you do?

In the above somewhat hypothetical situation (the person is real but I cannot fathom she has any true friends) I would warn my friend to come clean. If her (remember if I were being gender neutral here I’d use “he” as another protest to PC language) lies don’t really break any laws or create harm and she refuses then you should make a stand not to support your friend until she starts telling the truth regarding ALL of her previous transgressions. If she continued to utilize deception as a means of getting ahead in life, say maybe get elected to office, then at some point you would have a moral obligation to society to go ahead and come clean. The Bible in Proverbs 20:17 states that “Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.” So the lie may be fun to live for awhile but eventually the truth will prevail, if you are aware of someone that continues to spew falsehoods from their mouth then you are setting yourself up for a little “gravel” in your mouth as well when the TRUTH sets the rest of us free.

The other thing to remember is that you should never sell-out a friend for personal gain.
The proverbial act of “throwing a friend under the bus” with the express purpose of advancing your own personal interests is something that is likely considered immoral in every school of thought (except maybe the Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton school.)
If you take the steps of giving ample warning to a friend that is not doing the right thing by doing the following: (1) let your friend know exactly what you morally feel obliged to do and why you feel this way and; (2) disclose to them the exact time-frame from which you will do this and be sure to follow through on your commitment to the rest of us.; If your friend was truly wrong, then at some point with the heat of the moment far-removed, he or she will likely come back to YOU someday and actually apologize to, and thank you for being a stand up enough person to do what is right.

Final note on this issue: is Dusty Rhodes a communist or something? In the article he states he supports creating a law that forces the seller of a home to disclose their personal thoughts. Full transparency of “how much a seller thought is was worth.” What the heck is that concept? Folks I am truly a champion for transparency (http://www.natenoy.com/) but I would NEVER promote forcing someone to disclose their personal belief on something. There is no chance this law would survive a Constitutional Challenge if I were on the case! To me this is an obvious violation of the due process clause of Amendment V aka the 5th Amendment to our great Constitution. It also dips into a pretty good argument for violations of the 1st Amendment as well.

I’d love to be writing the copy for the next person running against Rhodes:

“Dusty Rhodes if he is willing to sell out his “friends” imagine what he’d be willing to do to you? In fact, Dusty recently advocated legislation that would force you to disclose your personal thoughts in direct violation of your 1st and 5th Amendment Rights. What’s next Dusty? Do you have a crystal ball in your office or have you conspired with aliens to read our thoughts?” ……..

Then you show your candidate with his friends, talk about how he vows to protect the Constitution and Rights of our legal citizens and how he does not believe in Crystal Balls or Aliens. This may cost you the extreme liberal and Al Gore vote (oops, one-in-the-same I guess) but it should be the marching ticket someone with the record of Dusty Rhodes has earned by kicking a friend to the curb. The more we all know about people like that, the better off we all are.
